This is Chalmers’ first big canvas painting. It was submitted for UOB Painting of the Year in 2017. This painting is an expression of one’s desire for peace using Singapore’s multi-racial culture depicted by the different traditional dance of all the 4 races in Singapore: Chinese, Malay, Indian,and Eurasians. Various dancers projected the idea of different culture yet the same, dancing in harmony.
