Special needs artist Chalmers was diagnosed with moderate to severe autism when he was 18 months old.

He has auditory processing issues, speech and developmental delay. He is, however, talented in painting and sandart.

Besides his artistic traits, he is also a drummer and pianist. He is also a bowler who won 3 times champion in Singapore National Games 2016, 2018 and 2019.  In 2019, he won champion in the Singapore National School Bowling Championship and Singapore Sports School Para Games Bowling Championship.

He was the champion at the Special Olympics National Games 2022. Chalmers was also one of the three performers at the Shaping Hearts 2022 Opening Ceremony graced by Mdm President Halimah Yaacob and 2024 Shaping Heart Gala Dinner with celebrity Ms Dawn Yip 叶佩芬 where he performed 2 Sandart pieces continuously. His art pieces were sold at Shaping Hearts 2022 to 2024 and received much positive feedback.

Despite of these, he may not be employable after he completes his education in the Special School. His mum, Magdalene Ong, hope to set up this online business so that Chalmers could have a means of living in the future.

His online business focus on selling art pieces, commissioned art pieces, high quality fashion wears, household products, accessories and gifts made from his Chinese and Western paintings.
